The First Celtic Simultaneous Pairs
The Celts are back!
A brand new event which is open to ALL is the Celtic Simultaneous Pairs.
If it is open to all then why the name? Well, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland are raising money to fund their International teams.
Scotland has a particularly urgent need to raise funds for its Senior Team, bronze medal winners at the European Championships in Dublin. They have qualified for the World Championships in Bali in autumn 2013, the first Scottish team to achieve such success.
Our share of the profits from this first running of the new event will go to them.
Willie Coyle, John Matheson, Victor Silverstone, Derek Diamond, John Murdoch and Iain Sime have agreed to share their combined experience by providing the hand commentaries.
We welcome clubs from every country and the profits will be shared between the Union that your club belongs to and of course the International teams.
Come and join us in what should be a fun and exciting event – it will be scored by the tried and trusted team of Anna Gudge and ECats.
Our preparation for the event would be eased if we could anticipate the size of the entry, so we would be very grateful if you could please complete the entry form below and send it to:
